Here's one way to recycle an old barn. Dutch design studio Kwint Architects decided to use the frame of an existing barn located south of the city of Eelde, the Netherlands and convert it into a stylish countryside home. The exterior features a layer of horizontal wooden blinds, which allows for better air ventilation. The large barn-style doors have been concealed and integrated into the cladding, and can be left closed of open depending on one's need of privacy and natural lighting. The interior has been divided into two levels, and features a mix between minimalist and traditional. View more in the pics below:
